All guns blazing on BJP, Karuna Shukla the niece of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Bajpai, who joined Indian National Congress (INC) on Friday, said that BJP has ended the talks about corruption by re-inducting former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yedurappa in party folds. She was addressing a Press conference after taking primary membership of Chhattisgarh unit of Congress party formally in presence of CGPCC President Bhupesh Baghel and ClP leader TS Singh Deo here at State party headquarters on Saturday.

Coming down hard on BJP Karuna Shukla said that BJP was hijacked by few party stalwarts at the national level and they are now controlling the entire party. Answering to speculations that she could be Congress candidate from Bilaspur lok Sabha seat, Shukla said that it is up to the party leadership to decide her role in party adding that she would abide by their decision and had not joined Congress for getting ticket.

Over a question query as that how would she defend Congress the party which she had kept on attacking for since decades over several grounds, Shukla the party in which I work it was my commitment to strengthen and spreads parties ideology. Now I have jointed party I would now work the same way here.

Sharing reason for leaving BJP she said I was dishonoured by the BJP. I was removed from various committees in party without being taken me in confidence. I agree that youth should be promoted but it do not give anyone right to dishonour senior party leaders.

Karuna Shukla who was in BJP for 32 long years alleged BJP for adopting dual standard over CAG reports. Over the report on which Parliament is disrupted, should be accorded similar seriousness  in Chhattisgarh
