BJP escalated fight against the ruling Congress on Sunday on farmers’ paddy procurement issue as the party cadres set ablaze the copies of ‘production certificate’ of state farmers being issued by patwaris, terming it as ‘Tughlaqi’ order.
Protesting the order, former BJP Kisan Morcha state president Sandeep Sharma, Amarjeet Chabra, Rajesh Pandey and others termed it as ‘Black Order’ and burnt the copies at the BJP divisional office premises.
The BJP leaders demanded the withdrawal of the order.
