As a part of its pre-decided strategy for the urban body elections, the Raipur unit of BJP will hold a meeting of party workers at the State BJP headquarters ‘Ekatm Parisar’ here on Saturday.
BJP District Unit President Ashok Pandey said that the party has commenced preparations for the urban body elections and meetings are being organised in different districts. The district and city unit workers of the party will participate in a meeting convened at 6 pm at Ektam Parisar on Saturday.
Senior leaders of the State and district including State General Secretary Shivratan Sharma, leelaram Bhojwani and Cabinet ministers of the Chhattisgarh government will address the party workers and guide them for campaigning for the elections.
State BJP In-charge JP Nadda who had held a meeting more than a week ago had instructed the district presidents and other senior leaders of the party to organize regular meetings for complete mobilization of workers in view of the forth coming elections. The entire month of July will comprise of meetings to be held at district and circle level. This will be followed by meetings at ward level in August.
