Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said the BJP government in the last 15 years did not initiate the work of ‘Ram Van Gaman Path’ and they should accept the fact.
It is being done considering its religious and tourism importance, he told the media.
Baghel was reacting to former Chief Minister Raman Singh backing BJP MLA Ajay Chandrakar's statement that the place where Mata Kausalya temple exists is not her birthplace.
On Raman Singh pulling up government officials on change of venue of the BJP event at Kawardha, Baghel said: “The same officials worked for the BJP government for 15 years. Now, it is a Congress government. As per government directives they are doing their job. So, he should not use such language and threaten the officials.”
On BJP's allegations of a transfer industry, Baghel said: “If an official is not found working as per expectations, he is transferred. Another officer is given the chance. It is a normal procedure. What is new?”
