Saying the BJP’s target is the 2023 Assembly election, Chhattisgarh BJP President Vishnudeo Sai on Sunday urged party workers to campaign on the unfulfilled promises made by the government.

He was addressing the final day of a three-day training module for party leaders and workers at the Kushabhau Thakre premises, the headquarters of the BJP.

Sai said that on 10 subjects, experts over the last three days highlighted the core issues and its different angles. The need is to prepare soft spoken, calm, regular visitors to respective areas and a dedicated party worker to achieve the target of 2023.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pandey said Jan Sangh since its inception has laid emphasis on ‘Swadeshi’. It has been restarted again by the BJP. In 1954, when the Jan Sangh raised the issue, the Nehru government did not understand the concept.

Pandey said Naxalism was a great concern and accused the Congress government in Raipur of bowing before the Maoists.

Former Minister and MLA Ajay Chandrakar said the BJP believes in the power of its workers as they are the backbone of the party.
