The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has deferred its release of poll manifesto for Chhattisgarh during the visit of party’s National President Amit Shah to Raipur on Sunday (November 4) to post Diwali celebrations.
Shah’s other programmes in the city will be held as scheduled, party sources informed.
Party sources informed that the poll manifesto is expected to be released by November 9 or 10 before the first phase of polling that is scheduled on November 12.
According BJP’s State Media In-charge Nalinesh Thokne, all the preparations for the declarations of the poll manifesto have been completed and the manifesto would be declared after Diwali.
As there are many programmes such as arrival of party President and celebration of ‘Kamal Diwas’ on Sunday, most of the top leaders would be busy with the programmes. So declaring the manifesto will require presence of most of the leaders and it is a one day programme also.
As per information, the State BJP organisation has been working round-the-clock for organising ‘Kamal Diwali’ under which each party workers in the State would be decorating their house with the lamp after putting ‘Rangoli’ in the house.
