DNA test of the Congressmen should be performed to know that who is a Congress worker and who is fulfilling his or her selfishness in the name of Congress party.This was stated by the District Congress president (Rural) Arun Tiwari who has sent his resignation to the Congress high command while talking to reporters on Tuesday.
Following fielding of Karuna Shukla by the Congress as the lok Sabha candidate from Bilaspur seat, Arun Tiwari had sent his resignation to the party high command.
“So far, I have been in the Congress and Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are my leaders. Now, I cannot do politics by wearing the mask of Ajit Jogi. If Jogiji had to take political retirement for one year, he might have taken it either before the Assembly election or after the lok Sabha election. All these are conspiracies to destroy the politics of the Congress,” he said.
Tiwari said “he considers the Gandhi family above all in the Congress party. Since last 10 to12 years, some leaders of the party itself have been destroying the party in Chhattisgarh and due to which we should not come to power in the State.”
“Young candidate Ashish Singh was defeated from Takhatpur. Why Bhuvaneshwar Yadav lost the Beltara seatIJ Reasons of all these issues should be investigated,” he added.
Tiwari said, “It should not be perceived that I have resigned protesting the candidature of Karuna Shukla. The reasons are the politics going on in the Congress. I have been feeling suffocated in the party since last 2-3 years. I could not tolerate the present politics in the party. Sonia Gandhi had given me the district president’s post, I thank Ajit Jogiji for he had been instrumental in giving me the post. Now I have resigned from the post.”
He said that all these conspiracies have been made in the name of retirement. “Now I will show that how retirement is taken. I have resigned only from the post, not the party. Even if I would be dismissed, I would remain a member of the Congress, because my commitment would always be with the party,” he said.
