Bhilai Steel Plant holds training on kitchen safety

The Canteen Service Department of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), in association with Safety Engineering Department, held a safety training programme on “Kitchen Safety, Health and Behaviour” at the auditorium of the Plant. GM (Electrical), Arun Bhandkkar was present as chief guest on the occasion . DGM (Personnel-IM&S) Rajiv Menon presided over the function. 

Arun Bhandkkar, while appreciating the efforts of the Department for organising the programme, called upon the canteen employees to actively take part in such awareness programmes. In his address, Rajiv Menon said that such training on quality services in canteen was important. Providing good and healthy food was in the priority list of the Plant, he said. 

Fire safety, safe work with sharp utensils, electric and cooking gas safety topics were included in the training programme. All the employees were imparted training to deal with emergency situations.
