The Bharat Heavy Electricals ltd (BHEl) would renovate and retrofit NTPC Korba’s super thermal plant’s Electrostatic precipitators, officials stated.
Notably, BHEl also bagged a contract worth Rs 359 crore in June last year for setting up a ‘Plant Power Distribution System Package’ for NMDC’s integrated steel plant being set up at Nagarnar near Jagdalpur in Bastar division of Chhattisgarh.
Notably , the NMDC is setting up a 3 million tonnes per annum integrated steel plant at Nagarnar in Chhattisgarh. The order comprised design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the complete power distribution system on a turn-key basis at the plant. The system would supply power through 33 KV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) based sub stations to the various shops of the integrated steel plant.
