A delegation of Congress party led by State President of Tribal Cell and legislator from Sitapur, Amarjeet Bhagat on Monday afternoon reached the office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Subrat Sahoo and demanded details of booth-wise voter turnout all over the state.
Notably, earlier the CEO's office had refused giving booth-wise voter turnout information while asserting that there were standing instructions from the office of Election Commission of India not to do so.
Bhagat claimed that he was also a candidate in 2003, 2008 and 2013 assembly elections and on each occasion he was provided the voter turnout list.
