In a bid to provide high speed Internet services to the rural populace of Bastar, an agreement was signed by the district administration and BSNL in the presence of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
Bastar Collector Chandan Kumar and BSNL Bastar General Manager Sharadchandra Tiwari signed the pact for the Bastar Connect programme.
Under this, free Wi-Fi facility will be provided in 108 villages of Bastar district to make life better for people.
Using this information revolution, e-governance, transparency and ease of doing business will be created in many villages. Also, the initiative will help in people's socio-economic development.
