Bank adopts G'band village

Dena Bank is committed for the development of Bindranawagarh village and moving in this direction, the Bank has launched the scheme of providing furniture, water cooler in hostels/schools meant for Tribal students, stated Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Dena Bank Ashwani Kumar during his visit to the village on Thursday.

Dena Bank has adopted Bindranawagarh village of Gariaband district. Kumar said “water coolers are being provided to three schools along with school kits for students. Scheme for tube well and installing solar light in the village will be taken up soon and the Bank is committed to help villagers as per their needs.” He also distributed vehicles to 15 beneficiaries as part of ‘Vehicle loan Fair’ organized by the Bank in Raipur. As part of novel initiative to spread financial literacy among people of Chhattisgarh, the Bank would get organized street plays related with financial literacy in different places.Addressing the bank employees, the CMD stressed over the need for expanding Bank’s business in the State.

He also asked officials to work more for social welfare schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Beema Suraksha Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Atal Pension Yojana.
