With a view to facilitating the cricket-lovers coming to watch Champions league T20 matches at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Naya Raipur, entry of goods vehicles will be prohibited on State Highway 9 and National Highway 30 in the district.
District Collector Rajesh Sukumar Toppo on Tuesday issued an order imposing complete ban on all types of goods vehicles plying from Palari (SH 09) and Sigma towards Naya Raipur (NH30) during ClT2O matches on September 13, 14, 16, 19 and 23.
Transportation of goods vehicles has been prohibited through these routes as a preventive measure to ensure safety and comfort of the people visiting the stadium to watch the matches, an official press release informed.
As decided, entry of goods vehicles will be banned on both main roads from 1 pm till 2 am on September 13, 14 and 16. Similarly, the goods vehicles will not be allowed on these routes from 5 pm till 2 am on September 19 and 23.
