If one person from a family is found Covid positive, then the entire family will be considered Covid positive and everyone will accordingly get treatment in their home in Chhattisgarh's Balodabazaar district, it was announced on Sunday.
“If one person from a family is detected Covid positive, then the entire family will be placed in home isolation and will receive medicines/treatment (which) they would get in a hospital,” an official press release said.
The orders were released by District Collector Sunil Kumar Jain after a video conference with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the press note said.
“Only serious patients will be admitted in hospital while those with mild symptoms or asymptomatic individuals will be administered treatment in their homes,” Jain was quoted as saying in the press release.
The Collector told officials to improve food and sanitary conditions of all Covid hospitals and Covid care centres in the district. These places will be daily monitored via CCTV, he said.
