Under Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, Balod district has 65,415 smart health card holders till June 8, 2018, said Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar while replying to a question raised by member Bhaiyaram Sinha.
Sinha had sought details of total number of smart card and its renewal status.
He also sought the number of applications pending and when it would be made.
Minister said that all the cards have been renewed, while 12,341 applications have been received. Out of which 8,922 families have been issued the card and the remaining is 3,419 families. The work is in progress, the Minister added.
