The Bharat Aluminium Company ltd (BAlCO) Management organised a football tournament between the company's 1,200 MW Power Plant's Operations and Maintenance Teams.
The Operations Team beat The Maintenance Team by 6-4.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashutosh Dwivedi, Head- 1200 Power Plant, said that both the Teams played with utmost sportsmanship and displayed excellent soccer skills, a company press release informed.
In the scheduled time for the match, both the Teams had scored 3-3. The winning team was decided in a Tie Breaker. In the Tie Breaker, the Power Operations Team shot 3 goals, while the Maintenance Team could shoot only one goal. The ‘Man of the Match’ Award went to Avinash Sao and the ‘Fair Play Award’ was awarded to Shubhdeep Bannerjee.
Gajendra Rajawat, Head- HR, 1,200 Power Plant, Manohar Darunkar, Junior Executive, Brajendra Mishra and Sanjay Pradhan gave their outstanding cooperation towards the Tournament. The scoring was done by Johaib Akhtar Khan and Md. Kaleem was the Match Referee.
