Bajaj Electricals ltd. one of the India’s leading consumer durables company is swiftly moving to capture the ‘e-market’ space.

Plans for offering some durables exclusively for the online market are being formulated, informed Anant Bajaj, Joint Managing Director, Bajaj Electricals ltd. while addressing a press conference here on Thursday.

He also launched Bajaj’s new range of lED lighting, which includes Corona Range of Bulbs, Battens, Tube lights, Flood lights as well as lED table lamps.

We already have tie-ups with e-market giants like FlipKart and Amazon apart from our dedicated website. Currently there is a ratio of 70:30 percent in our business where 70 percent of the business happens in traditional trade. However, we are looking forward to serve our customers online, Bajaj said adding we would definately try to avoid clash between both the markets.

“Chhattisgarh has always been a high potential market for the company. We will continue to expand our network here and introduce new and world-class products. It is this trust in all our relationships, be it with partners or consumers that will keep Bajaj Electricals moving forward on this glorious path”, he said.

The company is also focusing on Research and Development sector and by using Green Technology is trying to come up with some exciting products for consumers, he informed.

According to Bajaj, some of the recent projects undertaken by the company in Chhattisgarh include lighting of Raipur’s International Hockey Stadium, where recently Hero World Hockey league finals were played between world's top 8 hockey teams from November 23 to December 6.

He further informed that the company’s EPC division successfully completed the Rural Electrification project under RGGVY scheme worth 170 crore in Mahasamund, Champa and Raipur districts.
