Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ajit Jogi who is the party candidate from the Mahasamund lok Sabha seat where polls got over during the second phase in Chhattisgarh, has now started campaigning for party candidates for the third and final phase of polls in the State scheduled on April 24.
On Sunday, Jogi while campaigning for the Congress candidate from the Raipur lok Sabha seat Satyanarayan Sharma at Damakheda village, said that the sitting MP and BJP candidate for the Raipur seat Ramesh Bais forgets his constituency after the polls.
He said that the BJP and its candidate Bais have a similar plight where there is a world of difference between what they promise and what they implement.‘The BJP MP remembers his constituency only during polls’, he said.
Congress Rural District President Pankaj Sharma remarked, ‘What could be sadder than anything to know that the six times MP had not been able to raise issues regarding his constituency in the Parliament.’
