Baghel unnecessarily dragged in sex CD case: Punia

The alleged sex CD of Chhattisgarh Minister was a result of infighting in the Bharatiya Janata Party and Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Bhupesh Baghel has been unnecessarily dragged into the case, said Chhattisgarh In-charge of All India Congress Committee PL Punia.

Addressing a press conference here at State Congress Office, Rajiv Bhawan on Wednesday, Punia said BJP is a ‘divided house’ and the preparation of sex CD of the Minister was its outcome. The persons who prepared the CD are of the BJP and CGPCC Chief has falsely been framed, he said.

“He (Bhupesh Baghel) only waved the CD in a press conference while saying that he too had the same CD but there was no proof which CD he was having in his hand. No seizure and no investigation had been done of the said CD and thus it is not justifiable to frame charges against him for circulation of the CD”, Punia said.

The main accused as per CBI, Kailash Murarka, had also given clean chit to Baghel saying that he was not guilty into matter and thus Baghel has intentionally been booked by CBI on fake charges, Punia added.

More ridiculous is the fact that the FIR of BJP leader Prakash Bajaj was found to be fake in which the capital police taking a swift action raided former journalist at his Ghaziabad based residence, Punia said.

The charges levelled by Bajaj about extortion were also proved to be false, he added.
