Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the school admission festival in schools across Chhattisgarh through virtual mode on June 16.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister will restart 260 schools which were closed in four Naxalite-affected districts: Sukma, Dantewada, Bijapur and Narayanpur.
A total of 11,013 children will benefit from these schools. The maximum 158 are in Bijapur district, 97 in Sukmat, four in Narayanpur and one school is in Dantewada district, an official communication said on Wednesday.
He will also interact with the parents and children of the schools being reopened. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam and Minister in-charge of Bijapur, Kawasi Lakhma, will also address the event.
