Nothing is going to be achieved by Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) President Bhupesh Baghel entering the jail and not seeking bail and his party workers and leaders staging massive demonstrations and courting arrest following the episode, State BJP President Dharamlal Kaushik said on Wednesday.

Chhattisgarh in-charge of All India Congress Committee PL Punia along with others would request for bail of Bhupesh Baghel, he said in a statement issued here on Wednesday.

Kaushik said that instead of remaining in jail, such a dramatic situation is being created as per the ‘script’ written by the Chhattisgarh In-charge of All India Congress Committee P. L. Punia in which first one goes to jail and then comes out.

All the scripts have been written in last three days. Now it has to be seen how it would influence the people, he said.

Reacting on the decision to apply for bail to get released, CGPCC President Bhupesh Baghel, BJP state spokesperson Sanjay Shrivastava said that within two days the curtain has been downed after the drama staged. Accused in CBI probe Bhupesh Baghel is creating sensational and dramatic events , he said.
