Baghel hits back at Raman over development

Published on:

Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel hit back at his predecessor and BJP’s national vice-president Raman Singh for his claim that all the progress as well as the development works being showcased by Baghel government was actually due to effective plans worked out by BJP government in its 15 years’ regime.

Baghel was talking to media persons here at Congress’s state headquarters Rajiv Bhawan on Sunday after briefing about the plan of the party organization to protest against the central                 government.

Taking a jibe at his comment, Baghel said “if he (Raman) was such an able  person and has such ‘Aladdin’s Chirag’, then he must be made the prime minister of the country as Modi as a prime minister has failed and the country is facing a serious   economic slowdown”.

Notably, Raman on Saturday had said that       whatever progress the state is achieving is only due to    effective work-plans of the BJP government in its 15-year rule in the state.

Raman had further claimed that Baghel was   falsely claiming the credit of development.
