Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday dedicated two mechanized road sweeping machines of the Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) in the Chhattisgarh capital on the occasion of his birthday.
Baghel flagged off the vehicles at a function at his residence here, an official communication said.
The vehicles went on to clean the main thoroughfares from Baghel's residence till Ashoka Tower in Shankar Nagar via Civil Lines, Bhagat Singh Chowk and Shankar Nagar Road.
RMC has given a contract to a Mumbai-based private waste management company for the next four years, the statement said.
