The Chhattisgarh government on Saturday carried out a major reshuffle of 29 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including eight district Collectors.
The Collectors of Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Janjgir-Champa, Korea, Balrampur-Ramanujganj, Korba, Mungeli and Bemetara have been changed, an official communication said.
A General Administration Department order stated that Amrit Kumar Khalkho (IAS, 2002) has been posted as Secretary, Labour Department, with additional charge as Secretary to the Governor.
Topeshwar Verma (IAS, 2005) has been posted as Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, with additional charge of Secretary, Transport Department, Transport Commissioner and Commissioner of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
S. Bharati Dasan (IAS, 2006) will be Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, with additional charge of Special Secretary, Agriculture Department, Nodal Officer (Narva, Ghurva, Gurva and Baadi), Chhattisgarh Godhan Nyay Scheme and Commisisoner-cum-Director, Public Relations (Ex-officio CEO, Chhattisgarh Samvad).
Himshikhar Gupta (IAS, 2007) has been made the Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Road Development Corp. He has been relieved as Registrar, Firms and Organisation, and Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Agriculture Marketing (Mandi) Board, Raipur. Yeshwant Kumar (IAS, 2007) has been posted as Director, Agriculture, with additional charge as Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, and Sugarcane Commissioner. Satyanarayan Rathore (IAS, 2008) is now Registrar, Firms and Societies, with additional charge of Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural). Shyam Lal Dhawade (IAS, 2008) has been posted as Collector Korea. He was the Collector of Balrampur-Ramanujganj.
Kiran Kaushal (IAS, 2009) has been posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, with additional charge of Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Marketing Federation (Markfed), Raipur.
Sameer Vishnoi (IAS,2009) gets additional charge as Commissioner, Commercial Tax, with existing charges. He has been relieved as Director, Geology and Mining, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corp.
Saurabh Kumar (IAS, 2009) will be the Raipur Collector.
Jai Prakash Maurya (IAS, 2010) has been posted as Director, Geology and Mining, with additional charge of Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corp and Director, Town and Village Investment.
Ranu Sanu (IAS, 2010) has been posted as Collector, Korba. Mungeli Collector Padum Singh Alma (IAS, 2010) has been shifted as Dhamtari's Collector.
Bhoskar Vilas Sandeepan (IAS, 2011) is posted as Collector, Bemetara. Jitendra Kumar Shukla (IAS, 2011) is Collector of Janjgir-Champa.
Shiv Anant Tayal (IAS, 2012) will be Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department, with additional charge as Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Agriculture Marketing (Mandi) Board, Raipur. Taran Prakash Sinha (IAS, 2012) has been posted as the Rajnandgaon Collector.
