Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) president Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said that he is ready to provide court affidavit for fresh CBI probe into Jheeram valley massacre by Maoists in 2013.
Chief Minister Raman Singh is not aware that NIA is not investigating Jheeram valley attack by Maoists on the convoy of Congress leaders, Baghel said, adding that if there was no security lapse on behalf of state government then the state government must submit their court affidavit at the office of CBI for fresh probe into Jheeram valley attack.
Jeeram valley attack issue was never political agenda for Congress but it was the incident in which the party lost their senior leaders in gruesome naxal attack, Baghel added.
Congress party has right to fight for justice in Jeeram valley attack, Baghel further said.
