Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday dedicated a refurbished Shahid Smarak English Medium School here.
Earlier it was a municipal corporation-run Hindi medium school, which has now been brought under Swami Aatmanand Utkrishtha Vidyalaya Scheme.
The building has been refurbished and the school has been transformed not only qualitatively but aesthetically too.
Baghel spoke to the students during his visit about the education and facilities.
The school now has a modern library, laboratories and a big playground. During his visit, Baghel tried his hand by throwing a basketball into the net.
