Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday urged the striking government employees to resume work, saying their demands will be fulfilled at an appropriate time.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said that people were unnecessarily troubled due to their strike.
The state government was always ready to work in the interest of government officials and employees. Revoking the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) was an example, he said.
“We have always taken decisions in the interest of employees keeping in view the financial resources with the government and will continue to do so,” he added.
