Raipur City District Congress Committee President Vikas Upadhyaya on Thursday declared in a statement that the City Congress workers would not allow Spiritual and Yoga guru Ramdev Baba to enter Chhattisgarh for making a derogatory statement against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
“We will put the holy Ganga water in every place stepped by Ramdev Baba to purify such places,” he said. Upadhyaya said that the ‘fake Baba’ in the garb of a saint is polluting the traditions of the civilisation through his statements. “The utterances of the baba are irreligious and he has no right to call himself a saint.” His utterances display a total intellectual bankruptcy and such ‘anti social elements’ are vitiating the atmosphere in a peace loving country, he alleged.
