Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday charged the BJP with falsely claiming that it was pro-Hindu and with wrongly taking credit for construction of the Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Baghel told reporters here that the temple in Ayodhya was being built on the order of the Supreme Court and a Trust had been entrusted for the construction.
The BJP should not take credit for the temple construction, he said.
He said his government in Chhattisgarh was run like in Ram Rajya.
Baghel criticized the BJP and his predecessor Raman Singh for not undertaking the task of Ram Van Gaman Path and Mata Kaushalya temple in Chandrakhuri.
“It was the Congress which fulfilled these tasks which was for enriching the culture of the state,” he said.
