As part of the ongoing literacy Week organised, an awareness camp on women literacy is scheduled on Sunday. The Government has appealed for large participation of women from Self Help Groups, Anganwadis and Women Wings in the programme. Health and sanitation-oriented discussions among women are to be held here.
Several sports events and co-curricular activities are also lined up. On the same day, ‘Saksharta Samvad’ will be conducted in all the Public Education Centres wherein discussion over the topics like Women Empowerment and from literate India to Educated India are scheduled in the presence of writers, neo-literates, scholars and women from different sections of the society. Song, Poster and Slogan Making competitions would also be organised under the Sakshar Bharat programme.
