The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Nirmala Sitaraman on Sunday said that a large number of auto rickshaw drivers were now linking with the party in Durg district.
The party had received tremendous support of the auto rickshaw drivers in Durg district who were increasingly associating themselves with the party, she said after being present at the district-level training programme for party workers in Durg district on Sunday. "Moreover, the kind of tremendous response the training programme for the district level party workers had received in Durg district for the lok Sabha poll preparation, it is evident that the BJP would form the next Government at the Centre, she said while addressing a news conference at the party's State headquarters 'Ekatm Parisar' in Raipur.
She said that the work done by the BJP in five years was not achieved by the Congress party even in five decades.
