Chhattisgarh Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey on Wednesday told officers to start outlets for organic manure (vermi compost and super compost) made by women Self Help Groups in district towns or in outlets like Sanjeevani. He was addressing a review meeting of departmental officers of Durg division here, a press release said. He directed the officers to continuously monitor the farming situation and solve the problems of the farmers. He wanted that seeds and manures should be made available to the farmers.
The Minister also inaugurated the Genetic Engineering Laboratory at Kamdhenu University.
