Appeasement is political character of Cong: Kaushik

Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party State president Dharamlal Kaushik commenting on the State executive body of Congress said that it reflects ‘appeasement character’, and  it is due to which the downfall is seen.

The jumbo size of the Congress State working committee makes it clear that Congress has not come out its political disorientation and to save its present existing form, the party is handing over the post to one and all to run the party. It means that the party is now not following its own constitution, said Kaushik in a statement.

Kaushik said that Congress State president is unable to stop the erosion of base of his party and the same person is putting challenge for open discussion on development. The party has been following the policy of appeasement, may be in name of religion, case or category or even politically. BJP State president further states that it is due to which from Panchayat to Parliament the democratic institutions have been devalued. The party has now only 44 seats and is out of power in around 20 States.

Kaushik said that once again the Congress would be defeated by the people.

Meanwhile, BJP State spokesperson Shivratan Sharma said that due to fear of dissent, the list of State working committee was pending for long time. So to keep all under the umbrella, the jumbo form has emerged out having 332 members.

Even after the first list, the discontentment is emerging out slowly. Former spokesperson Anand Mishra has also spoke against the CPCC chief for taking money to provide post and party ticket. Sharma said that instead of seeking open challenge to the Chief Minister and BJP leaders, the Congress should call its own party workers and hold open discussion. It can provide reply to their party workers on different issues.
