A week-long ‘Anti Addiction Week’ got underway on Wednesday on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti for preventing misuse of narcotic substances and alcohol addiction across the State.
During the week-long campaign, a series of exhibitions on de-addiction, rallies, debates and symposiums would be held besides cultural events in the school and colleges across the State.
In the rural areas, wall writings would be put up to publicise de-addiction, an official press release issued here on Wednesday said.
