To mark the occasion of National Girl Child Day, the Women and Child Development Department is going to hold a day-long programme titled ‘Anmol Betiyan’ on January 24 near Telibandha pond from 8.00 am onwards.
On this occasion, a bike rally would be organized for girls and women, which would be flagged-off by Chief Minister Raman Singh besides inauguration of Department’s ‘Shuchita Yojna’.
During the programme, Member of Parliament Ramesh Bais will preside over the function while Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, PWD Minister Rajesh Munat, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punnulal Mohle, Woman & Child Development Minister Ramsheela Sahu, Parliamentary Secretary in Women and Child Development Department Roopkumari Chaudhary, Dharsiwa MlA Devji Bhai Patel, Chhattisgarh Child RightsProtection Commission Chairperson Shatabdi Pandey, Raipur (Rural) MlA Satyanarayan Sharma, Abhanpur MlA Dhanendra Sahu, Raipur (North) MlA Shrichand Sundrani, Arang MlA Naveen Markandey, Raipur City Mayor Pramod Dubey and District Panchayat President Sharda Verma would be the special invitees on the occasion.
