Women, Child Development and Social Welfare Department Minister Anila Bhedia was introduced to the Department officials in a meeting held at New Circuit House here on Saturday.
It was the maiden meeting of the Minister with the Department officials.
Women and Child Development Department Secretary, M Geetha led the officials of Secretariat and Directorate who welcomed the Minister. Joint Director, Women , Child Development and Social Welfare Department D S Maravi then introduced the departmental officials to the minister. Addressing officials, the Minister said that there is need for the officials and employees to work with responsibility, sensitivity and honesty. She laid emphasis on the proper implementation of schemes.
