Minister for Home Affairs Tamradhwaj Sahu on Wednesday reprimanded Janta Congress Chhattisgarh leader Amit Jogi for refusing to give voice sample to Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is investigating the Antagarh Tapes case.
Talking to media persons at Lormi here, Sahu said if Amit was not guilty then why he was avoiding giving the voice sample. He should cooperate with the investigating agency and let the truth come to the fore. The sample would make it crystal clear whether Amit was guilty or not, he said
Notable, Amit on Tuesday went to SIT office at Ganj Police station premises, Raipur in connection with the Antagarh Tape case but refrained from stepping inside to give his voice sample.
He even termed the SIT as ‘Stupid Investigation Team’ and claimed “there is a ‘Laxman Rekha’ before the SIT office. On one side of it prevails law of the land while on the other side writ of the state government runs”.
He further alleged that the SIT did not reply on what ground the voice sample was being sought from him.
“I am not afraid of giving the voice sample and am giving it before the media”, he added.
