Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J) state president Amit Jogi on Tuesday went to SIT office at Ganj Police station, Raipur in connection with Antagarh Tape case but refrained from stepping inside to give his voice sample.
The SIT asked Amit Jogi to appear before it to provide his voice sample on Tuesday.
Terming the SIT as ‘Stupid Investigation Team’, Jogi said, “There is a ‘Laxman Rekha’ before the SIT office. On one side there prevails law of the land while on the other side writ of the state government runs. The SIT did not reply on what ground the voice sample is being sought. I am giving voice sample before media.”
He claimed that the SIT on Jheeram massacre is yet to begin its probe but the SIT on Antagarh CD scam sent the seized pen drive to Hyderabad, Bhopal and Chandigarh labs though reports of two Bhopal and Chandigarh CSFL have found them doctored.
Citing District and sessions court Raipur order, Amit said even after court sought reports from the SIT, it has not yet been submitted.
He demanded that a case under sections 420 (forgery), 468 (Forgery for purpose of cheating) and 47I (Using a genuine a forged document or electronic record) of the IPC should be registered against the person involved in making the fake clips.
He demanded that the SIT should make the reports public and submit it before the court, or else he would approach the court for it.
