Urban Administration Minister Amar Agrawal on Sunday carried out inspection of a hi-tech bus stand here and expressed anger over the poor sanitary conditions prevailing at the facility.
The Minister reprimanded officers responsible for not maintaining proper sanitation at the bus stand.
Agrawal also expressed displeasure over encroachment found in the bus stand area and asked officers to pay special attention towards removing them.
He directed to charge maintenance fee from bus operators which would be utilized for appointing security guards and sweepers
Agrawal said that the hi-tech bus stand was constructed after investing `100 crore and hence there should be no laxity in maintaining cleanliness at the facility.
Mayor of Bilaspur city, Kishor Rai, CEO Zila Panchayat JP Maurya along with other officers were also present on the occasion.
