State Urban Administration and Development Minister Amar Agrawal urged the officials on Monday to focus on the construction of private toilets under the ‘Clean India Drive’.
He was chairing the review meeting of various works being carried out by 13 Municipal Corporations and 43 Municipal Councils of the State.The Minister told the Municipal Corporation Commissioners and Head of Municipal Councils to complete the pending toilet construction on priority.
Besides, discussion on ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’, the meeting included discussions on Tap Water Scheme, Water ATM Scheme, City Bus Project, lED Scheme and Income-Expenditure plans.
State Urban Administration and Development Department Principal Secretary RP Mandal along with other senior officers were present during the meeting.
