All the Tehsil headquarters of the district would have ‘lok Seva Kendras’ (Public Service Centres) through which people would be issued caste certificates as well as certificates of the domicile, officials said.
Collector Niranjan Das has directed the officers to start the lok Seva Kendras latest by November 15 this year. During the first phase, the lok Seva Kendra would be started at Gariaband district headquarters and all other Tehasil head. The Collector also directed officials to hold camps for the differently abled persons to the officers concerned. He said that from January 1 onwards, the use of polythene bags would also be banned in the district.
