All families should get benefits of smart card: Collector

In a bid to give benefits of smart card to the families, the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) has been directed to get form ‘S’ filled in from such families.

According to sources, to ensure that no eligible beneficiary was deprived of health insurance under the National Health Insurance Scheme and Mukhya Mantri Swasthya Bima Yojana, it was mandatory that smart cards of those who have filled form ‘S’ be prepared and those who did not fill up the same, their forms should be got filled up by August 10.

In a recent meeting, collector Bhim Singh has issued instructions to all officers concerned that they should not leave their headquarters without permission failing which strict disciplinary action would be initiated against them.The collector instructed the officers and employees to attend their respective offices on time and do their work during office hours. He asked the SDOs, to inspect their subordinate offices from time to time.

Besides, the collector instructed the sub divisional officers to inspect the lok Seva Kendras also. He asked the executive engineer of Public Health Engineering Department to make water testing kits available to urban bodies so that water could be tested in urban wards also. He instructed the secretaries of gram panchayats to do water testing regularly.
