Chhattisgarh Additional Director General of Police (DGP) RK Vij has stated that all EVMs from the polling centers for the first phase of Assembly polls have returned and deposited in the strong room.
The members of polling parties have also returned to their respective headquarters, he said. Vij said that the insurgents once again tried to ambush during the return of the security forces this morning between Chinta Gufa and Timilwada in Sukma district in which a CRPF Deputy Commandant RS Bisht was injured. Bisht was immediately shifted in a helicopter and admitted in a hospital in Raipur for treatment.
