Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Brijmohan Agrawal has announced that very soon an Agriculture College would be opened in the Maoist-hit Narayanpur district under Bastar region.
“It is only through the welfare of the farmers, the State would march towards further development,” he said after inaugurating a day-long farmers fair-cum-exhibition organised by Ramkrishna Mission Ashram here. The Minister, on the occasion, advised the farmers to adopt modern techniques in their farming activities. Agrawal also advised farmers to grow cash crops besides taking up Floriculture and Horticulture activities.
