After helmets were made mandatory for the police personnel, the district administration on Tuesday also asked all its field staff to wear helmet while riding two-wheelers.
Collector Thakur Ram Singh issued directives to all the field staff for using helmet on Tuesday.
He said that all the field staff including officers and employees should wear helmet. like general public, they will also be penalised by the traffic police on failing to wear helmet while riding two-wheelers.
Collector expressed dissatisfaction over absence of some officers in the weekly meeting held on Tuesday and directed that all officers should ensure their presence in weekly meetings.
He reviewed the status of ‘Shala Pravesh Utsav’ (School Admission Festival) and directed the officers to ensure admission of maximum students in schools.
He also reviewed the schemes for labourers and sought details of the execution of these schemes.
Singh said that the maximum number of labourers working in unorganized sector should get benefits of schemes and the officers should take initiatives in this regard.
