The Adarshini Mahila Mandal Club of state-owned power companies organised an Anand Mela in the city. According to officials, the Mela was not only a good platform for mutual interaction but also a means to carry out different social welfare activities.
In the Mela, a stall of audio impaired institute Koplavni was also established. About 20 different stalls were erected in Mela which offered different delicious dishes of various states.
Some games were also conducted for the entertainment of participants. The money collected from Mela will be used in different welfare works, Club President Kiran Singh informed.
