The labour Department is preparing to clamp down shortly on all the unregistered placement agencies across the State. The Department had already issued directives to its employees to start taking action against all unregistered placement agencies. Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, labour Department and Development Commissioner Vivek Kumar Dhand has, through a circular, directed the district collectors and the SPs to take action against the unregistered placement agencies. As per the directives of Union Ministry of labour and Employment, the State government would be filing cases against unregistered placement agencies in the state, according to an official statement issued here on Friday.
