Intensifying their tirade against illegal liquor sale, women from rural as well as urban pockets in the district have sought State’s intervention to keep a check on the menace.Recently a group of villagers including women of Pandripani region reached the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Gariaband and appealed him for taking necessary measures to check illegal liquor trade.The villagers urged SP Amit Kamble to take appropriate steps against illegal liquor traders as they have allegedly threatened villagers of dire consequences.Kamble assured the villagers of taking appropriate action in the matter.
