Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested an employment assistant from Rajnandgaon for taking bribe of Rs 10,000 from the beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) here.
The ACB team caught red handed Ukeshwar Sahu s/o Narayan Sahu, working as an employment assistant at Tedesara panchayat comes under Rajnandgaon block for taking bribe of Rs 10,000 from the beneficiary of PMAY named as Man Singh Sahu, told Rajnesh Singh, SP, ACB.
The beneficiary Sahu was about to get Rs 26,000 as grant under PMAY for which Ukeshwar demanded Rs 10,000 for issuing the amount of grant for him, ACB SP Singh further informed.
