In tune with the Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has declared its candidates for the State general election 2018. On Tuesday, it declared list of six candidates. With it the AAP has issued total names of 74 candidates out of 90 seats. Now, the party is expected to declare the candidates of 16 remaining seats soon.

One crucial in the declaration is that AAP has changed the candidate of Vaishali Nagar seat. AAP Chhattisgarh incharge Gopal Rai announcing the names of candidates said that the candidate for Kurud is Tejendra Kumar, Navagarh is Anjor Das Dhritlahare, Kasdol is Purushottam Sonwani, Pratappur is Chotelal Tireky, lormi is Mahendra Singh Thakur and Vaishali Nagar is Anjula Bharghav.

Rai further said that after the total survey reports are taken into consideration then no party is having complete majority. He claimed that AAP would make a tremendous gain by beating BJP. He claimed that AAP is leading in around 35 seats while the second is Congress and in third position is ruling BJP. He also claimed that 70 percent of ministers in cabinet will loose the election.

Rai further said that party from September 15 is conducting door to door programme. As per the programme, they would take a bowl in hand and seeking ‘one vote, one member and one rupee’.

He condemned the statement of health minister Ajay Chandrakar said that it is an irresponsible statement even after several deaths due to suspected dengue. He could have been more sensitive and instead of pulling the doctors working on ground, they should be given backup for better working.
